π§ How Are IELTS Band Scores Calculated?
Each section of the IELTS testβListening, Reading, Writing, and Speakingβis scored individually. These four scores are then averaged and rounded to the nearest half or whole band to produce your overall band score.
Example:
π Listening: 7.5
π Reading: 7.0
π Writing: 6.5
π Speaking: 7.0
β‘οΈ Overall Band Score: (7.5 + 7.0 + 6.5 + 7.0) / 4 = 7.0
